Our mission...
CARE recognizes that good instructional ideas cannot be implemented without adequate funding, and many learning opportunities are missed due to a lack of resources. For this reason, CARE has developed an educational grant that supplements the immediate financial needs of public schools and classrooms. It is our organization's hope that these grants will impact student achievement within the school year in which they are awarded.

CARE is a Colorado non-profit corporation founded in 2006 with the exclusive goal of assisting public school educators when their necessary resources are scarce. Our funding comes primarily from private gifts, corporate donations, and monies raised through various events and programs. Our fundraising team consists of unpaid volunteers dedicated to this mission. We are recognized by the IRS under section 501(c)(3) as a tax exempt organization. Any contributions made to CARE are considered tax deductible for the donor under section 170 of this code. Good Times helps students in Adams 12!
While we primarily seek monetary support for our grant programs, sometimes donors will include products or gift cards to help promote their organization. Recently we received several gift certificates from the Good Times corporate office in Golden, CO. We donated these certificates to Adams County School District 12. School Psychologist Becky Gerken is currently using these certificates as reward incentives for special-needs students in her Positive Behavior program. Thank you Good Times!

CARE Grant Awarded to Hoff Elementary School
CARE awards money for 3rd grade teacher Chelsea Hott to purchase book group materials and supplement her classroom's reading program. Partial funding for this grant made possible by the Tattered Cover Book Store in Denver.
